Nadiya Kurinna

Nadiya Kurinna is a contemporary music composer, pianist, accompaniator, teacher, a member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine (since 2012), Second Prize winner of All-Ukrainian Music Composition Competition named after M. M. Skoryk (Lviv, 2021), a scholar of the “Gaude Polonia” Scholarship Program of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland (2019; music composition), a multiple award winner and a participant (as a composer, pianist, accompaniator, organisation) of different international and ukrainian music festivals, competitions, concerts, projects, an alumna of Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music (L.V.Dychko, M.M.Skoryk, O.V.Kostin composition classes), Lviv National Music Academy Named After Mykola Lysenko (O.V.Kozarenko composition class), Kryvyi Rih Regional Music College (V.G.Zamyshliaiev piano class, V.M.Rakitianskii composition class). Her creation displays multi-dialogues between different semantic fields: experiments and traditional composition, symbolism and sacredness, philosophical and cosmological dimensions and immense emotional scales. Nadiya’s compositions were performed in Ukraine, Austria, Germany, Poland.
